The hermit hideaway

The Hermit Hideaway is about being off the grid and semi or even completely self sufficient. It is meant for someone reclusive, who is interested in little to no contact with society. The cottage is set on rocks in water on four concrete stilts in a secluded cove.

The drawbridge not only acts as a bridge towards land but also completely hides the entrance and is controlled by a hidden lever. The windows are tiny towards land, just enough to detect the surrounding coastal area and the windows toward the ocean are wide and tall, to be in direct touch with the view of the horizon.
